StayWest is a family owned and operated company that offers four different accommodation options in West Region of Iceland. All have their own unique character so our guests surly can have memorable experiences in West Iceland.
Akranes is conveniently located, only 30 minutes’ drive from Iceland's capital Reykjavik. There is much to discover in Akranes, small coastal town that is an original Icelandic place. Intriguing Lighthouse that has attracted travelers and is a recommended place to visit while in Iceland.
Our two accommodations open all year round are Gallery Guesthouse and Akranes HI Hostel. Both are in the center town of Akranes within walking distance from restaurants, cafés, movie theater and more.
